The Mixer

It's not a Twitter meet-up. It's not a dating event. Err... it's like a mixer.

It's starting out as an experiment to see if there are better ways to meet new people. 

Here's how it'll work. 

You come along to the mixer with a single friend of the opposite sex. So, a single guy friend brings along a single female friend and vice-versa. 

And yes, I know, there will be people who won't have any single friend of the opposite sex. So, when we get to it, we'll sort something out, I promise. 

The idea is to have equal numbers. 

And no, you don't have to give away your Twitter anonymity. Because quite frankly, there will be such a mix bunch of people that I am hoping Twitter is the last thing you'd want to talk about. 

It'll just be an evening to get to meet new people outside of your usual circle. It may or may not lead to you finding someone to date, but at least, it'll get us out of our comfort zones, met some new people, and interact instead of swipe, no?
